  • Make an Appointment:
    During the show things can get very hectic and busy, making an appointment ensures the sales rep in your store and territory will be better able to guide. Your local rep will know your territory and be able to guide you.
  • Call your local rep before the show:
    If you're planning on coming to the show, but unable to make an appointment, give your sales rep a call anwyays. They can give you update on new lines in the showroom that are definitely worth looking at in person or even give you updates on current show specials. Don't know who your local rep is?   • Wear comfortable shoes:
    There is alot to see at the Gift & Home Furnishing Market, and we don't want you to be too worn out after the 1st day. To add to this you can also bring a 2nd pair in case you need to change into more comfortable ones.
  • Make stickers or Leave behinds of your bill to and ship to address:
    This is great for customers with multiple store locations or new bill to and/or ship to address.
  • Bring your business cards:
    It will save you time and assure that the sales rep has all correct information.
  • Bring your Credit card:
    The #1 reason for orders not shipping on time is missing payment information. Many manufacurers will not call for credit card numbers. It is strongly recommended that payment information be given when the order is written to prevent any delays in your order. Your credit card will NOT be charged until your order is ready to ship.
  • E-Commerce stores:
    We at Joanne & Company are thrilled to be working with E-Commerece stores, however a good number of our manufactures require additional paperwork to be filled out for customers who are solely E-Commerce. It's a good idea to let your sales rep know that you are an E-Commerce store in the beginning, so they can remember to give you extra information such as drop ship fees and lead times.
  • Applying for Credit / Terms on your orders:
    Remember to bring your current "Credit Sheets" if you wish to apply for terms with our manufacturers.
  • Roller Bags / Suitcases:
    Roller Bags and Suitcases are allowed during the shows but it is strongly recommended that you keep the size to a minimum as alot of showrooms get crowded and navigating with a larger bag may be very difficult.
  • Free Parking:
    Just show your business card or Mart Card and park for free all day! Available in our South and East lots while space permits. Overflow parking will be re-directed to the Grand Avenue Garage. The L.A. Mart offers a free shuttle all day to and from the Grand Avenue Garage for your convenience.
  • Opening a New Store or Expanding?
    Let your sales rep know, and they can show you some of the hottest products of the season. They will also know who's carrying the new lines and make sure the area isn't over-saturated. Our sales reps have a wealth of information, and are more then happy to help.
